Constellium completes sale of three German facilities

Constellium has completed the sale of three of its soft alloy extrusion facilities in Germany.

The facilities are located in Landau, Crailsheim and Burg in Germany. 

The sale to Vaessen Aluminium was made for a total amount of €48.8m in cash. The announcement follows the completion of the regulatory approval process. 

With nearly 450 employees, the three Constellium plants specialize in soft alloy extruded products for the building and construction, transport and industry markets in Europe.

Vaessen Aluminium belongs to a longstanding family-owned industrial group, headquartered in Belgium. The group is active in aluminium billets and profiles (E-Max), in lighting and ceiling (Kreon) and in wall cladding (Limeparts Drooghmans).
