Vimetco mulls over decrease in Alro stake
Aluminium group Alro SA in Romania reports that its majority shareholder Vimetco N.V., which currently holds more than 84% of the company’s share capital, is exploring strategic options for a potential decrease of its ownership stake in Alro, and is reviewing any available options depending on market conditions, including a secondary public offering of shares on the Bucharest Stock Exchange. No firm decision has yet been made to move forward with a transaction. Further announcements will be made as soon as a firm decision is made.
