Hydro acquires 100% of Eugen Notter GmbH
Norsk Hydro has completed the acquisition of the hardware company Eugen Notter GmbH, a German aluminium window hardware manufacturer with a global customer base in Europe, North America and Asia. For more than 20 years, Notter has been a supplier of Hydro Building Systems, offering hardware for aluminium windows. The acquisition is a consequence of the succession plan of the owners.
“This acquisition will support Hydro’s strategy to offer innovative solutions for windows and doors to serve an increasingly sophisticated market. We are very pleased to have acquired the skills and knowledge of this niche player,” says Gøte Nordh, VP Hydro Building Systems.
Notter, located in Mainhardt/Württ, will continue to operate as before, serving all its customers and working with its suppliers as under the previous owners. Hydro Building Systems intends to continue its business relationship with its other hardware suppliers.
